Enrollment

Parents are encouraged to enroll for the upcoming 2018-19 School Year from February 5th through February 28th, at your local resident school. 
Enrollment hours are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9am-11am or 1pm-3pm. If you are unable to visit your school office during these hours, please call for an appointment.

Enrollment Packets are available for pick up. In order to enroll you must complete and provide the following information:
1. Complete a Wright School District Enrollment Packet
2. Birth Certificate for the child you are enrolling.
(Students must be age 5 by October 1, 2014, in order to enroll in kindergarten for the 2014-15 school year.)
3. Proof of Residency (2 Forms of Proof required: Drivers License, Utility Bill, Lease or Mortgage Agreement)
4. Immunization Record

  • Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Tetanus (DPT) 
    4 doses at any age, but... 3 doses meet requirement
    for ages 4-6 if at least one was given on or after the 4th

    birthday 

  • Polio 
    5 doses at any age, but... 4 doses meet requirements for ages 4-6 if 
    at least one was on or after the 4th birthday.

  • Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) 
    2 doses* both on or after 1st birthday.

  • Hepatitis B 
    3 doses

  • Varicella (Chickenpox) 
    1 dose or health care provider-documented varicella
    disease or immunity.

 

Oral health assessment due in first year of school, Before students complete their first year of school, in either kindergarten or first grade,
they must submit proof of having had an oral health assessment by a dentist or licensed dental health professional.

Health checkup required in first grade. A certificate documenting that each child has received a health checkup within the last 18 months is required within 90 days of entry into first grade.

ONLY complete enrollment packets will be accepted at the school site. Enrollment Packets will be date stamped and numbered upon receipt to ensure a fair and equal student enrollment process. Please enroll as soon as possible to ensure your student is enrolled at the site you are requesting. If your packet is received at a later date you risk the chance of being placed at another site due to high enrollment numbers.
